New Resource for Identity Theft Victims
In these days of identity theft, online fraud, and data breaches, it's good to have extra resources available to help us find our way through the maze of trouble these incidents cause....and a new website spearheaded by the Federal Trade Commission has just come online to provide assistance!
IDTheft.gov is dedicated to help consumers navigate the waters of "what should I do first?" if you believe you are the victim of ID theft. The site provides an online checklist of things that need to be done and the order in which to do them (a printable version is also available). There's even a section dedicated to what should be done if you receive a breach notification from a retailer or other entity that handles your financial information.
Take a moment to visit the site - even if you haven't experienced an ID theft event - just so you know the basics and are familiar with the process should you fall victim to this very personal crime. And as always, contact your credit union should you have any questions or concerns about how we protect your information from unauthorized access.
Quality Vehicles Available
Looking for a reliable pre-owned vehicle at an affordable price? Your credit union has several nice rides available, and great loan rates to go along with them! Click here to see our current offerings.
We exist to provide a source of credit for our members at fair and reasonable rates, as well as encourage the habit of thrift among our members. We've learned these two ideals go hand in hand and never counsel our members to jeopardize their financial well being through excessive debt or reckless spending.
Why Choose Credit Union Membership?
Simply put, we strive to treat each of our members as co-owners of the Credit Union (because you are!). Credit Union members support an organization that benefits all its members, not just a select group of officers or shareholders. That's not a statement you'll hear from the "big bank" on the corner.
